Art directors' index to illustrators # 8

Published in Switzerland by RotoVision, Art Directors' Index to Illustrators No. 8 is an exceptional and highly collectible professional reference book celebrating world-class commercial illustration and visual design. Functioning as a premier global industry showcase, this volume curates an extensive range of editorial artwork, advertising illustration, corporate graphics, and publishing design created by leading international illustrators during a golden era of print media and art direction.

The front cover features a striking high-contrast graphic artwork set against a deep black backdrop, depicting the lower half of a stylized female face framed by dramatic white dry-brush line patterns reminiscent of a scarf or high collar. Vibrant red lips stand out as the vivid central focal point beneath the shadowy brim of a hat. Printed across the lower section, crisp white serif typography reads ART DIRECTORS' INDEX TO ILLUSTRATORS, anchored by the volume marker No. 8 highlighted in bright red text. Inside, the pages offer high-gloss, full-color portfolio spreads representing international artists across diverse visual techniques—from airbrush work and painterly realism to minimalist ink drawings—alongside comprehensive professional contact directories. An essential centerpiece collectible for commercial art archivists, vintage design historians, and graphic illustration reference libraries.
