Barcelona al Alba

Published in Spain by Glénat, Barcelona al alba is an exceptional and highly collectible graphic novel created through the collaboration of writer Juan Antonio de Blas and legendary Spanish illustrator Alfonso Font. Renowned for his expressive realism, dynamic line work, and masterclass in sequential storytelling, Font brings de Blas's intense noir narrative to life with atmospheric depth and vivid characterizations.

The front cover features a bold, high-contrast illustration in red, yellow, and black tones dominated by a close-up portrait of a stern-looking man wearing glasses, holding a cigarette, and staring intensely outward. Behind him, red-toned urban architectural elements capture the gritty atmosphere of early morning Barcelona streets. At the top, bold white typography displays the title BARCELONA AL ALBA, with author credits Alfonso Font and Juan Antonio de Blas listed to the left, and the Glénat publisher logo centered along the bottom margin. Inside, the pages present a rich graphic novel filled with detailed black-and-white art. An essential centerpiece collectible for Alfonso Font enthusiasts, Spanish noir comic collectors, and graphic novel historians.
