El Rabioso Dolor Y Otros Bienes De Consumo Chumy Chumez

Published in Spain, "El rabioso dolor y otros bienes de consumo" is a classic vintage collection of satirical drawings, dark humor, and biting social commentary by the legendary Spanish cartoonist, writer, and humorist José María González Castrillo, universally known by his pen name Chumy Chúmez. Famous for his sharp political satire and distinctive ink illustrations across landmark publications like La Codorniz and Hermano Lobo, Chumy Chúmez was one of the most prominent satirical voices in post-war and democratic-transition Spain.

Featuring a captivating collage-style cover, the design incorporates vintage 19th and early 20th-century newspaper advertisements, pharmaceutical clippings, and medical notices, overlaid with a prominent engraving of a pointing manicured hand. A framed white central box displays bold typography reading "EL RABIOSO DOLOR Y otros bienes de consumo", anchored at the bottom by the author's name "CHUMY CHUMEZ". Inside, the volume contains Chumy Chúmez's signature black-and-white cartoons, caustic vignettes, and humorous reflections on modern consumer culture, existential absurdities, and human nature. An essential collectible for Spanish humor enthusiasts, vintage graphic design collectors, and fans of classic European cartoon satire.
