Gente en su sitio

Published in Spain by Editorial Lumen, Gente en su sitio is an exceptional and highly collectible graphic humor anthology featuring the timeless cartoon work of master illustrator Quino (Joaquín Salvador Lavado). Best known worldwide as the creator of Mafalda, Quino was equally celebrated for his standalone humor pages and philosophical single-panel cartoons that dissect bureaucracy, modern alienation, power dynamics, and domestic absurdity with tender irony and sharp intellect.

The front cover displays a clean cream-colored background featuring Quino's iconic stylized signature at top center, positioned above the title GENTE EN SU SITIO printed in prominent green italic serif typography. Below, a line art illustration depicts a man sleeping soundly inside an open, fully packed suitcase surrounded by travel items, including shoes, glasses, a passport, a clock, and plane tickets. The publisher imprint EDITORIAL LUMEN appears centered along the bottom margin. Inside, the pages present a rich archive of Quino's acclaimed visual satire. An essential centerpiece collectible for Quino enthusiasts, Spanish graphic humor collectors, and international comic archivists.
