Vixcarra caricaturas

Published in Spain as part of the Colección Titanic series by Ediciones El Jueves, Vizcarra Caricaturas is an exceptional and highly collectible art book featuring the brilliant illustration work of acclaimed Spanish caricaturist and painter Joan Vizcarra. Celebrated across Europe as one of the most talented visual satirists of his generation, Vizcarra became a household name through his iconic cover illustrations and full-page portraiture featured in the legendary satirical publication El Jueves. His art style is distinguished by its extreme structural exaggeration, extraordinary anatomical distortion, expressive facial detailing, and virtuoso command of color and lighting.

The front cover features a clean off-white background with the publisher logo Titanic COLECCION positioned in the top left corner. Across the top center, the artist credit VIZCARRA is written in bold, expressive black brush script above the large title CARICATURAS, rendered in heavy, gradient-shaded block typography transitioning from teal to warm brown tones. The central illustration showcases a wildly distorted caricature of Steve Urkel (played by Jaleel White from Family Matters), depicting him with oversized pink glasses, a protruding tongue, bent limbs, suspenders, and classic spectator shoes against a soft yellow halo background. Inside, the volume compiles a rich gallery of full-color caricatures, cultural icons, and comic portraiture. An essential centerpiece collectible for caricature illustration archives, Spanish comic history collections, and graphic art libraries.
